Virginia Key Beach Park Trust, a 74-year-old historic and culturally significant public space will host a cocktail party fundraiser to engage the business community and friends in learning about the valuable work and impact the Historic Beach Park has made regarding civil rights, and social justice and change.
Guests will enjoy fun, interactive activities as they travel to their train ticket destinations. Once all itinerary destinations are visited, guests will be eligible to enter a drawing for a travel getaway or iPad prize.

Established on August 1, 1945 as “The Colored Only Beach”, the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust operates Historic Virginia Key Beach Park (HVKBP) highlighting its rich cultural history, regional African American contributions, civic activism, and environmental preservation to educate future generations. Additionally, the Trust partners with organizations to help improve our communities through HVKBP programs and events.
Open 363 days a year, the Historic Beach Park provides activities for visitors of all ages who enjoy a Historic Cultural Center, environmental exploration, natural tropical shoreline, recreational activities, and award-winning music venue events.
